XLVII Roundup

We are saddened to report that the Gopher State Roundup Board of Directors unanimously voted to postpone the event that was scheduled for September 3rd – 5th, 2021.  This decision was very difficult for us and we apologize for any inconvenience this decision causes.  We are actively working to reschedule this event in a safe and timely manner. We look forward to seeing all of you again soon!

Roundup Canceled

2020 Gopher State Roundup, May 22-24, is Canceled

Announcement by the Gopher State Roundup Board

It is with sadness that we announce the cancellation of the May 22-24, 2020 Gopher State Roundup. The Gopher State Roundup holds a special place in the hearts of AA, Al-Anon, Alateen members and their friends & families.  Each year, many of us look to the Gopher State Roundup to refresh our thoughts, renew our hearts, and prepare us for the spring and summer ahead. Gopher State is a boost to our sobriety that draws us to a happy time with friends and family.  It reminds us of where we have been, encourages us to grow, and leaves us inspired to do more.

With the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot see a safe way to hold Gopher State XLVII on May 22-24, 2020. The Board is committed to holding Gopher State XLVII, however; it is not clear when that will be. We are actively looking at other alternatives and will provide updates as solutions become clear.

Please keep safe and stay sober.

New website

Nothing ever moves too fast in AA, but after having the same website since it was originally hand-coded in January 2005, the site has been updated to a new responsive (ie. mobile friendly) design, a new hosting provider, and into a content management system.
